Hi,

Yes I am finally planning to make the move to Vista x64 Ultimate SP1 [not really permanent, of course Dual Boot with XP x86]

Well I currently have some Crucial Ballistix PC5300 C3 2x1GB.
I've overclocked my CPU to 3.2GHz. Q6600 @ 3.2GHz. 333*9 on 1.425v.

My buddy said that I should go for ~
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit

I guess going for 2x2GB is better and the timings are fine. And besides, 4GB is a must for Vista x64 :p
And I'll have 3.5 on XP which I don't mind at all.

What do you think?

Cheers.;)

Well your currently on 333*9, so you would be looking to run this at 400+*8, any more will depend on the cpu limit me thinks.

But the ram will be good enough.

333*9 is 3Ghz, btw.

im also thinking about buying those RAM, how fast can they hit at 5-5-5-15, with reasonable voltage? (reasonable as in <2.2)
