Which RAM and 4GB or 8GB with A6-5400K CPU?

I'm a little unsure what default speed of RAM the A6-5400K CPU will need, can someone enlighten me please?

I wont be overclocking (maybe 10 years ago but out the loop for too long) as its for a file server/HTPC combi and will be built on a Gigabyte A85X m-ATX mobo - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-427-GI&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=2399

Also as its for general file serving along with some Bluray movie ripping (maybe some encoding but maybe not) and playing XBMC would 4GB (2x2GB) be plenty? OS will be Win7 Pro x64.

When you say default what do you mean? the lowest? that's 1066MHz. As 8GB of RAM is not that much more than 4GB you may as well go for more.

Id would say 8gb while you can, dram prices seem to be creeping up more and more.
