Heatspreader size not an issue, going to go into a X58 system, then 1155 when the Ivy is release.

Either is fine.

Toss a coin or pick the colour you like best.

Remember to only use 3 sticks with X58 to preserve proper triple channel operation or you could use all 4 sticks in dual channel if you have 6 RAM slots.
