Which Ram for my new machine?

Ok during the next week ill be building my new machine the spec of which will have a E6600 running on a D975XBX with a GeForce 8800 GTS.

So as the title says whats the best Ram to go with the above setup? I was looking at 2gb of 5300 Ram but do you think i need better?

do you intend to over clock at all ?? if so get 6400 ram if not 5300 will be fine

2gb of OcUK 6400 is extremely good value and good stuff. I would go for that! :cool:

Yeh, very good value. Its rated at 800mhz, you might want higher rated ram tho if your going to overclock the cpu!

Well taking into account what the rest of the spec is going to cost (see first post) i was hoping to do the lot for under a grand so i guess i dont want to go too much over say £150?

In that case the ocuk value is the best bet, or Geil ultra 6400 if you'll stretch to 170.

Ok ive been tempted by the Kingston Hyper X 800 Ram as i can get it at a decent price is this a better option than what i was looking at before?
