Which RAM for new build!!

Hey guys

I've managed to sell my old kit and have decided to move to skylake.

I have chosen the 6700K + Asus Hero Alpha board, problem is I do not know which ram is best!!

Main use for the system would be gaming with a potential OC.

Please help

Corsair do some very nice C10 latency 2400mhz kits. For gaming it makes very little difference anyway but tighter timings always make my system feel snappier than higher frequency.

what ever is cheap at the time of buying, try to aim for 2666Mhz as that is shown to be the ddr4 sweet spot
for real world use the latency dose not have a massive impact so dont blow for load on low latency ram whats just not needed.

what is the system used for?

you say gaming in the main post, anything over 16gb is a waste of money. you system will be obsolete by the time you need anthing more than 16gb
