It's for a 2600K system based on an Asrock Extreme7 Z68 (Ivy Bridge compatible if that makes any difference for future upgrades). Looking to do some overclocking once I've run everything at stock for a while and find it stable.

I've been reading similar but it appears 1866 @ 9 may have a slight edge over 1600 @ 8 but there's almost nothing in it. I know nothing about Ivybridge but seeing as my motherboard will be supporting it, would it be beneficial in going for any particular RAM looking in the long term?
