Which ram to buy?

Hi all
I am upgrading to
Asus P5B Deluxe and Intel Core 2 DUO E6600
But cant decide what ram to get. I like the look of
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra
Is PC6400 good enough to get my chip over 3gig
Does anyone know which brand this board likes the best.

The OCZ will probably clock higher than the Geil. Tho the Crucial Balistix should clock higher than either of them.

Not sure how much difference PC2-8500 will make to overclocking a C2D, but I'd be interested to know.

The Balistix is 5300. I thought 6400 would be better

The pc5300 Ballistix seems to clock as well as the pc6400 Ballistix, yet costs 40 odd quid less.

I would recomend 6400 stuff this will allow you upto 3.6 1:1.

Go for the OCZ 6400 XTC it's at a good price as well !

Ballistic is also good but, a lot more expensive atm
