Hi,

I've just bought a new motherboard and have just realised that the RAM that I thought I could use, won't work in the new motherboard. So I need to order more RAM.

Anyway, the motherboard says that the RAM it supports is: " DDR II SDRAM", so is this ram compatible?

Thanks

Does it matter? I was under the impression that only the motherboard affects which RAM works. When everything arrives, and is assembled, the final spec will be:

ASUS P5LD2-VM DH Rev.2 (Not bought from here)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.86GHz (1066FSB)
ATi X800GTO2
160 GB SATA HDD
120 GB P-ATA HDD

The hard drives I bought years ago, i'm re-using them like I hoped to do with the RAM.

Using ram that is years old sounds slightly wierd. I woudnt use stuff from 6 months ago, unless I owned it.

Methinks you need you need to do a full upgrade.

Tell us the make and model of Motherboard and we will get the best ram for you :D
