Which ram?

I have a gigabyte nforce 4 sli mobo and 2 kingston 512 ram sticks at the moment. I dont do any overclocking so which ram would be best to get. Im looking at the Geil 2 gig dual channel value , and a g skill one at £142. Which is the best and how much more is it better?

Value RAM for sure.

The G.Skill will almost certainly be better, but you'll notice something like 2% difference in games etc. Up to you if the extra cost is worth it.

Ok ram should be here tomorrow but im a bit worried. Installing it is simple right. old stuff out new in, turn comp on and it does all the settings for me, job done. If thats just an upgraders dream is putting the timings in and stuff easy?

It will set the timings automatically but you may want to change them. I think you may have to change your pagefile size if upgrading from 1gb to 2gb, but im not 100% sure, someone confirm this? I have an inkling that pagefile = mem x 1.5.
