can somone please help me with this, i need a decision by tomorrow. is it better to get the higher priced ram seeing as i am going to overclock the e2180 to 3ghz+? please somone help :)

You can probably clock the cheaper version upto atleast 850mhz

The CPU would be 300x10 (3.0ghz) , so the ram would be running at 600mhz if you left it untouched. Even if you overclocked the CPU to 4.0ghz, the ram would reach 400mhz fine most likely :)

I'd only buy the more expensive ram if I was weary of having to overclock my ram

okay cool i am not bothered about how much work i have to put in to be honest, i have never overclocked parts before, nor built a pc on my own, but i think it should all be quite a fun if at times frustrating experience. I just wanted to know which option would give me better peformance
