Which Ram?

DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 OR OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel

Probably going to get a Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard, E8400 and a 4870

well I was all set for the XMS2 Then i saw the OCZ on offer. Heard good reviews on both sets of ram.

Having searched I haven't found much, but i know from past experience with my old Asus board that with that particular board it stated that Corsair RAM works better than any other RAM on that board (old 939 board)

Just though i'd ask people on here who probably have the same board with the same type of RAM that i'm looking at.

RAM is RAM. Both are modules you mention are decent enough and should work well but then I've RMA'd to both manufacturers in the past. You just can't tell.

Always had very stables machines when using Corsair. Had problems with Geil and OCx, might just have been unlucky though

I'd pick the Corsair personally. You get a free (but noisy) fan.
