I have an AMD 965 with 4GB RAM.
Upping to 8GB and stuck between either

or

Similar price though drawn to the Corsair due to the low profile.
However also drawn to the Gskill due to the lower voltage as i am planning to go Sandy Bridge once the new Mobos come out.

And just one last thing, for the Corsairs description it says voltage 1.55-1.65v , which is it?

Thanks for your help

If you have an aftermarket heatsink? then the XMS3 will fit, the ripjaws heatspreaders are higher than normal so can interfere with the fitments of heatsinks.

if your using stock cooling or Corsair H50/70 water cooling then you can fit either.

yeah i think it will be the corsairs, i am using a titan fenrir cooler
does the voltage differencebetween them matter looking at my sandybridge upgrade in the future?

thanks

Also the GSkill Ripjaws X are designed for Sandy Bridge, So I'm not sure if they will work with an AMD >_>

Just throwing that out there :3
