Umm, the first one is 8GB the second 4GB, are you aware of that?

What CPU cooler are you looking to use, as the heatsinks may interfere With the cooler.

Yes I know they are 4GB and 8GB, but the 4GB has better timings. Where as obviously 8GB is more physical ram, but will the extra 4GB actually be used?

I wont be getting a CPU cooler either, not yet anyway.

8GB wont make a difference in normal use and gaming. Neither the timing TBH. Personally, I'd go for capacity since the performance will be marginal.

And IF you get a CPU cooler, even later, tall heat spreaders do matter. Unless you go for one of those water cooling units.

4GB should be enough for gaming you don't need to go mad on memory really, but if it was me I would go for the 8GB just for the extra 4GB lol.

I'd go with 8gb but get a low profile one for future proofing. I've a corsair vengeance (tall heatsink) I am replacing because I wan to overclock and getting a noctua d14 . Big mistake I made when I bought the memory modules.
