Which RAM

I previously purchased 8 gigs of Crucial Ballistix ram DDR3 1600. They are yet to be installed but am thinking of upgrading to 16gig.

Should I:

1) Sell the ballistix and get 16 gig of something else (pls recommend)
2) Buy an additional 8 gig (2x4) of Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600


Are these Ballistix any good?
