Hi all

Currently have an ASRock Dualsata2 motherboard, [email protected] stock cooling and stock volts.

Now my bios says my CPU is around 47c~ after load, and my NB is 35c~

But MBM5 says they are the other way around.

I'm guessing the motherboard is more accurate, but 50c seems a bit high for the CPU at stock volts inside a Super Lanboy.

Any ideas?

edit: Ambient temp is 29c :(

Well, i've got the second from latest, because the latest one wouldnt allow for certain overclocking settings according to some people

Yep running at stock volts and stock air cooler. I'll be plonking a big typoon in there soon, so that'll tower over the NB aswell and should hopefully cool the hole lot down :)

Well it boots into windows at 2.8, but after about 10mins of load it freezes. This is on stock volts by the way, so if i were to get it to 1.5 i reckon 2.8 will be stable :)

Righty, i just did a little observation.

F@H will stress my CPU 100%. So i paused it and watched both temps come down to 35c~, idle.

I resumed F@H and MBM5 said that my NB was increasing rapidly, it's got to about 45c in less than a minute. And apparently the CPU is sitting happily at 35c despite being under 100% load.

Looks like MBM5 is wrong :(

Righty, you can guess the next question i'm gonna ask is whether 47c~ is ok for my CPU? :p
