Needing some advice please

Looking at getting my boss a bottle of Red wine for xmas, only a bottle worth £5-£10 but hes quite classy, company owner, range rover driver, goes shooting, loves his dad jokes, owns a farm etc

What bottle of wine for that price wouldnt be dissapointing?

Thanks :)

Asda ( poss. Tesco ).

Type - Australian Red

Brand - Wolf Blass

Yellow or Silver label , both decent in that price range

Gifting should go down, not up.

Obviously it's fairly easy to find nice wines at that price bracket, but I can't imagine he's going to be particularly impressed by a £5-10 bottle of wine. Why such a low budget as a gift?

As said above, why are you buying your boss a gift anyway?

What is your local supermarket? Is there a waitrose near you?

That is a very nice NZ pinot noir currently on offer in waitrose.

If you are wanting to spend under £10, I would suggest considering finding a beaujolais nouveau. Most wine drinkers would probably appreciate the novelty. It is a very fresh red wine that is served slightly chilled and tends to only be on sale for a couple of weeks from the end of Nov.
