Which RGB software to use?

Im not sure if this is a hardware question or software considering the hardware can determine which software to use.

My concern is the amount of resources a program uses.
The gamers nexus video suggests that you should try to limit the rgb software you use and IMO I think 1 or 2 at the most.
I am doing a new build and want some rgb to brighten the case up a bit.
I have a msi b550 carbon (which has some rgb on it)
I am looking at getting the corsair 500d rgb case with the included ll120 fans
I was thinking for the cooler to go with a msi 240r or perhaps something else like the nzxt z63 (and throw some corsair fans on it).
I also wanted to use a ll120 in the back of the case.

My questions:
If I wanted to limit the software I use and it is suggested that icue is the most offender from the gamers nexus video and using dragon center and icue really slows the system.
1. Can I get a z63 and not use the cam software to light up the lcd display and control the pump/rad? Meaning use mystic lights or icue for the lcd and pump control?
2. If not can I use the cam software to control Everything my corsair case fans and the msi MB lights?
3. If I went with the msi cooler; can I just use mystic lights to control Everything ie my ll120 fans including the 2 fans on the radiator (I might change out for ll120's) and the msi MB?
4. Or maybe I just use icue for Everything?

Whats your take? and whats the easiest to use and less resource demanding.
Oh I also have a power cooler red devil 5700 that has some lights with it also but I think the software doesnt have to run?
