Which Router/Repeater?

Hi all,

Got a Thomson Speedtouch 580i which was, at the time, apparently amazing.

Well it isn't, it's crap, and it frequently randomly drops Wifi connection and the range is rubbish.

It does, however, rock at DSL for people with rubbish lines.

I'd like to improve my Wifi connectivity by supplementing the Thomson with another router to extend my wireless network. All it needs to do is be a really good wireless router. No need for anything else, provided it can repeat my network..

There are no wireless networks in the area - I don't live in a highly populated area and I'm pretty sure my Wireless network is the only one within 500 yards.

Also my Speedtouch keeps forgetting things like port forwarding. I'll set up a port, hard save it, and then 2-3 days later it forgets it and I have to go back in and set it all up again - despite both the PC it forwards to and the router itself having long uptimes...
