Out of the following, which router is best?

Belkin 125Mbps Wireless-G Router (F5D7231UK4) Belkin 125Mbps Wireless-G Router (F5D7231UK4)

Netgear WGR614 54Mbps Wireless Cable DSL Router

Netgear WGT624 108Mbps Wireless Firewall Router Netgear WGT624 108Mbps Wireless Firewall Router

Is it worth paying a little extra and getting?:
Netgear WPN824 Rangemax Wireless Router

My last router was a Linksys WRT54G, however I didnt find it very good, because I upgraded the firmware and it stopped being able to retrieve an IP from DHCP.

I already took the old router back, and got a full cash refund.

So will none of those other Routers work with a MacBook? Thats the only computer I need to have to connect wirelessly. I've connected it to a Belkin network before.

Yes, it was the official Linksys firmware.
What do you mean, an IP for what interface?

Oh right. I may consider another Linksys router then, but after my previous experience I'm really put off. I looked for third-party firmware, but I didnt want to pay for it, and all the free firmware didnt work on my hardware version. Also, I did get a lot of interference because there are so many Linksys wireless networks in my area.

I'm really interested in the Netgear WPN824 Rangemax Wireless Router.

What experiences have people had with Netgear in the past? Are they good quality, and reliable? Does the connection drop much? Are they better than Belkin's?

If the only thing you're ever going to connect is the MB, there ain't a great deal of point.

In that case, which router would you reccomend, other than Linksys?
