Like the heading says really. I currently use the Bt Home Hub which is far from ideal as a lot of people here will agree. I was using an old Belkin router before this, but decided that it did not want to play with my new MacBook Pro, hence why i slumped for the BT Hub (atleast it can do one thing right!).

What i am after is a new wireless router that is N speed as the MBP is enabled for this and later would like to possibly stream from this router. My main machine will be connected via ethernet.

I like the idea of the apple Airport Extreme where you can connect an external drive to it etc, but don't think that there are any other routers out there that can do this and not really keen on getting the apple one as its only a hub. The other one i thought of was the new Belkin 'N' series (the shiny black one) Is there any reason why OcUk does not stock these? anyone got one?

So waffling over, what wireless router would you recomend that works well with a mac and is n speed :D ?

Personally, I wouldn't touch 802.11n routers until the standard is ratified and all the manufacturers are singing from the same hymn book. There's too much risk of interoperability problems with 'draft-n' IMHO.

Any ideas when this is likely to happen, they seem to of been round for quite a while now....
