Time for a new model, but I'm not sure between these two.

Belkin F5D8632UK4A 300Mbps N1 Vision Wireless ADSL2+ Modem/Router

Netgear DG834N 270Mbps RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL2+ Modem/Router

The Belkin seems better spec with 300Mbps, but has the readout gimmick, anyone using either of these models who can recommend or advise of any problems they have had.

I would generally stay clear of Belkin as they tend to be cheap & have poor firmware. Netgear should be fine. You will never get the 270/300Mbps on either so don't worry about that figure. You'll need a N rated wireless card to make use of the extra speed - most will only be 54G.

Although I would recommend a PCI or PCI-E card over a USB dongle, but can't see them on the site.
