Which Router?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could give me some advice about what router to buy. I live in a fairly old large house with think walls and the signal fails to reach most rooms. I think my current router is actually alright:

Obviously its not powerful enough to reach my living room which is about 15 meters away. Is there any routers out there that could do this? Is there something else that could be blocking the signal?

Adding another access point would seem like the most sensible thing. Only really need the internet in 2 rooms, the computer room and the living room, which are o9n opposite sides of the house.

How would I go a bout adding a second access point in the living room? Would this use the same bandwidth as my current connection?

Just come across this device that claims to send the internet connection through the electrical wires. Apparently you just plug it in to the wall by the router, then plug one in the wall in the living room which will transmit the signal.

Anyone know if this works? Also, what speed will I need to have a fast enough connection for online gaming?
