Which rowing machine?

Something for home. Every site I look on recommends something else so I'm at a bit of a loss. £300ish, but some folks are recommending some for £100, like this one but surely it's going to be a bit pants for that sort of money? I see it also doesn't have a digital display, is this as important as I think it is?

I dunno really, any pointers appreciated. Budget flexible.

There's a Concept2 on eBay at the moment for £415 buy it now, I know that's a stretch over your original budget but there must be a reason most gyms have them.

I bought one off eBay from a guy who refers gym equipment and it's been fine.

Tunturi air rowers like r701, had one 2nd hand great piece of kit , smooth; fold up compactly too.

I can vouch for the Concept2. One day I bit the bullet, whacked it on the credit card and bounced the balance around some 0% deals until it was paid off. I'd like to say I've made good use of it but that would be a lie!

Solid machines though and can certainly take the abuse from me!

Another vote for the Concept 2 - it's good enough for Olympic rowers and will last for years with relatively little maintenance
