Hi should i go with Supreme Commander or jump straight to Supreme Commander FA ?

Also does eathier support Dual or quad core ?

I here this is rather a cpu intensive game.

Supports quads.

Think you can get a Gold version which has both Supcom and Supcom FA in one pack for an extra £5 or something.

I have sup comm i dont see any point in keeping it ? isn't forged alliance everything sup comm is and more online wise ?
apart from the single player campaign is there anything supcomm original does ? surely all people play online soon will be FA ?
edit: you can only play online as serapim with forged alliance you need vanilla supcom to play as all races online.
