My Corsair AX850 is still going strong, 3rd incarnation.....but I've been doing a lot of video editing recently and I am desperately in need of more storage, so I need to connect some drives.
So, I went to retrieve the Corsair bag with all the PSU cables....ok this was about a month ago now, but I turned the house upside down looking for it, to no avail. Super ****ed off as I have kept that bag for bloody years, but have to admit it just isn't here anymore.
The Corsair website says The only difference between Type 3 and Type 4 cables is the pinout of the 24-pin ATX cable; all other cables (SATA, PCIe, etc) are the same.
Anyway, I gave up and ordered a "Corsair White Sata Type 4 Cable Original 6 Pin Male to 4 Sata Female, Sleeved" off the bay (white just as it was cheaper than black)......arrived today, and it doesn't fit.
Can someone save me another bout of rage and tell me what cable I need to connect this bloody PSU to a SATA drive?
