Been out of the market for a long time. My PC from 2007 - a socket 775 Core2duo with 2gb of ram.

I don't really need to upgrade, as it's plenty fast enough for everything i do i.e use it for media and entertainment.

What i do need to change though is my case. It's from 2001 and is a nasty beast of a thing. I want a Shuttle of similar (cube etc..) but with being out of the loop for so long i'm not sure what to for.

Any advice?

You are right, sorry, it won't come with RAM though. WHat is the 2GB you have currently? DDR2 or DDR3?
All the shuttle cases are out of stock atm.
Silverstone do a similar case, not as attractive though, here

Otherwise its a new case + mobo seperately - if you want to go small.

I presume my ram is DDR2 my current motherboard is a Asus P5B.

The silverstone isn't bad, but since it needs a motherboard and matx power supply it is worse value than a shuttle or aopen cube etc..

Looks like my best bet will be the members market.

I saw a Zotac GF9300-K-E that was going for under £90. But the price has now jumped up since more stock has arrived. Only any good if you only need to add one graphics card and nothing else.

I would have taken that option over Shuttle and bought a Silverstone SG-05 or SG-06, the models with a 300W PSU and not the newer 450W PSU.

Edit: Motherboard is DDR3, but as prices are lowish for 8GB it might be worth switching.
