Which Screen

Hi All

I am looking at 2 types of monitor at the moment and I need some help

Dell Ultrasharp 2005FPW 20" widescreen LCD Flat Panel Monitor. 300cd/m2 brightness, 600:1 contrast, 16ms response time. Midnight Grey TCO99

Now both of these screens are a similar price though the dell is £35-00 more, also the Viewsonic has a response time of 8MS while the Dell is 16MS which is the better screen I was told always to get the best response time but I'm not sure.

The screen will be used for gamming and watching films

have you checked out the NEC and Philips offering? Personally i think they offer more than both the Dell and Viewsonic.

16ms responce time is still good for gaming, id say the dell is the better of the two, though i wouldnt go for either. ive heard good things about the belinia and the price isnt too shabby. checkout http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/selector.htm its simple but gives you what u need
