Which secondhand OLED should I buy?

If you wait a few weeks you'll probably be able to pick up a CX or C1 in your budget. The C2 is only £1699 at the moment and we haven't even reached Black Friday.

If you see anything in BF and hold a thought of this post let me know :)
I meant in the second hand market. Richersounds have a C1 for £1399 right now, they'll definitely be under 1k in the second hand market.

There's a nice luminance upgrade in the 2022 models over the 2021 models, so it is realistic that some people may upgrade. At the very least look for a CX which is the 2020 model.

Isn't the C9 much better can c1 c2?... I don't game, so just movies

While here!... I've noticed some TV's turn into picture /frames.. Is that a particular model?.... But if there absolutely pants picturee quality, compared to your list I will Give it a miss

Thank you :)

Oh, if you're just watching movies then technically the C9 does beat the luminance of the C1 and C2. I imagine the image processing is worse, but if you're more of a purist and have those disabled then it doesn't matter.

The G2 beats the C9 across the board, but it's currently at £2099. I think the G2 is what you're referring to regarding the picture frames, don't know if the others have it, they call them the gallery editions.

You simply cannot go wrong with the CX65 - I have run the CX55 for the last year-or-so as a full on PC monitor with exceptional results. 4k@120Hz (with the requisite fast HDMI) - Now I am not the most cautious owner, they said screen burn if you leave the PC on and I always forget to set the screen-off when I nip for a comfort break and I come down 1 hour later with a blazing white webpage left onscreen and I've never noticed the least bit of screen burn or image retention. I also use the TV for streaming 4k FireStick, BluRay, Laptop, RTX 4090 PC, Cast from cellphone, Freeview 4k (and obvs they are extras;) ) and it takes it all in its' stride.
A fine, fine piece of engineering, the LG CX OLED is!

Edit to say:- at around 800.00 the used CX65 is slap box doodle in the middle of your budget. Winner!
