which settings to change?

newb question,

bought anew cpu/mb and ram, the memory is supposed to run at 1600mhz
but is currently at 1300mhz.

any ideas which settings i need to change

I would enter the values via the BIOS.

Then...

Disable XMP

Set DRAM Timing Mode to 'Link'

Then enter the DRAM timing config/mode and set the timings:

• Command rate 2T
• Tras. 27
• Trcd 9
• Trp. 9
• Cas (tlc) 9

And then the voltage and frequecy in the required fields.

• Frequency 1600MHz
• And don't forget to set the voltage manually to 1.5V-165V (I would start at 1.5V and work upwards if things become unstable)
