hi all , probably a very stupid question but what are my SFF options for a full sized ATX motherboard,PSU and dual slot 4850 ?

I want to build a HTPC but dont really want a full sized tower at the side of my LCD TV in the front room, ive been looking at silverstone cases which are nice i really need something that i dont have to buy any extra stuff for like ITX mobos and such

budget is around £100 (can go higher)

If you're looking for a tower case then the Lian li PC-A05 is probably the best you can get for your needs.
However if its a desktop you are looking for the Antec Fusion max is a good option, though a little on the expensive side along with the Zalman HD160+(The XT has screen, but cost a lot more), Zalman HD135S, Lian Li PC-C34F and Lian li PC-C33B

If you want cheap a well known competitor does a value case for sub £40 that would do, though the quality won't be anywhere near on par with these.

As you've already said. Silverstone make some very very nice HTPC cases. The LC16M is a fantastic case and the LC17 is very popular. I've just been looking at the LC10-E. I like the look of it a lot :D

Depends on your taste mostly, budget (how much you can stretch) and if you have any more specific needs.

some good info there thanks Guardsmon, ideally its a desktop im looking for rather than a tower, i was very close to purchasing the LC16M but then found out it doesnt support graphics cards over 225mm long which rules my ATI 4850 out

but i will certainly check out the others you have mentioned :)

I know it means buying the GPU, but Palit do a short version of the 4850. I'd forgotten the arrangement inside the LC16M to be honest. LC10M would fit your bill if you're looking for LCD panel, but apparently the airflow isn't that great.
Others to look at are the Thermaltake range: DH202, DH103, DH101, Bach and Mozart. They all fit ATX and should get a HD4850 in them.
