which should i choose

Hi at the moment i have an i3 8100 and a gtx 1650 super i was looking to change to a i5 9400f and a gtx 1070 or should i just keep the cpu and get the 1070 or change the cpu and keep the gpu i play games like apex legends etc

A 1070 isn't enough of an upgrade, in my opinion. I'd be looking at a RX 6600 or RTX 3060. What resolution do you play at?

You can get a 6600 for £300 and sell your 1650 to upgrade your cpu to a 9400f
