Hi all!
Hoping I could get a bit of help deciding which case would work best for me.
Basically, I'm looking to build a quiet, SLI rig (GTX 970s). Being quiet/silent is an absolute must for me, and I'm terrified if getting it all done and it turning out noisy!
I've narrowed it down to 2 cases...
The SilverStone Fortress FT05

And the Be Quiet! Silent Base

Now I must admit, I am leaning towards the Be Quiet as it looks so damn good, and is a little larger... But, how will it do in SLI? It also has more hard drive cages which could be useful, supports a DVD drive (which, call me old fashioned, I do quite like!), has more space for GFX cards and the like, and has nice noise dampening features such as rubber mounts on all the HDD cages, etc. But, the 2 gfx cards will sit one on top of the other.
The Thermaltake has its motherboard tray rotated 90 degrees, so the rear if the motherboard is on the top of the case, meaning the GPUs aren't stacked on top of each other (so the bottom card won't heat the top one, meaning I guess lower card temps, so lower fan speed = less noise), but fewer HDD cages (just 2), no rubber on the cages, to mount an SSD you need to remove the mobo completely, only supports a sideways slot loading DVD drive...
Not sure what to go for, any help appreciated!
FYI, I'm looking at using 2 x MSI 970s with the Twin Frozr V coolers, a Be Quiet! dark rock pro 3 CPU cooler, and I was thinking a corsair 850w PSU, but not sure on that yet - as long as it's quiet!
Edit: Ahh, or the Fractal Design r5?!!!
