Which Slot?

Hey guys, noob question, i have the 'Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard'

Which slot do i put my new 4890 gfx card in? i know they are mostly PCI-e, but do i put it in the blue, or the single orange one at the far left?

yeh there are two 6 pin slots 4sure, just my modular power supply didnt come supplied with enough :/ all i have is one hard drive + an ide optical drive, my modular power supply didnt come with ANY 6 to 6 pin connectors .. ' :s lol where do u buy them .. cant find them on the site

can somebody tell me how you power a two slot 6pin 4890 with this modular power supply:

chill dude, let me get this clear you have one 6 pin cable yes but you need another right? First try looking for another pci-e cable such as a 6+2 pin cable, this would be like your normal 6 pin but with 2 extra dangling off, you can use this but not connect the spare two.

*edit* spec on your link says it has a 6+2 pin cable you need to use this
 
thats great guys, found the 6+2, i think i got a bit confused as the 6pin + the 6+2pin have an 8pin end, that plug into the two 8pin sockets of the modular supply, thats right though right? i thought it was 6pin either end
 
Yes that's fine - the end that plugs into the actual PSU doesnt necessarily have to be 6 pin as well - could be anything depending on manufacturer and most are colour coded so you cant go wrong.
