A friend of mine has some video clips sitting on her laptop that have come straight off an iPhone and wants to stich them together with transitions/fades and add text overlays. I haven’t really dealt with iPhone footage before and in the past stuck with Adobe Premiere but the version available to us is 1.5 which doesn’t support iPhone footage.

I could use iMovie on my MacBook but ideally I am looking for Windows software that will do the job and is ideally free?

Cheers

Just looking at that now, looks as though the titling system isn’t the best, would ideally be needing professional title headings as seen on the news. Its for an interview style of video hence the need for the name title banners across the bottom of the screen.

Unless of course these can be created/added and then it would probably be ok.

use a video converter to make the iphone footage into a format which is compatible with adobe premier.

Google search ''freeware video converter'', or post back and we can suggest some specific converters.
