I'm back baby!
Songs that you've loved but forgot about, or your tastes changed but you can still appreciate the song we're talking about.

Mine:

Jamiroquai - Too Young to Die

I'm not the biggest Jamiroquai fan. Even though I have had a space cowboy in my sig. I just like the space cowboy :D However, this song rocks. For me its the perfect poppy dancey tune. It has strings, funk, meaningful lyrics... you can even move to it, and sing to it even if you don't know it! (doo dododooo dada do dada doodoooo)

Cast your mind back. Ace songs you've forgotten. Post 'em up :)

Haha, this thread makes no sense. How am I supposed to remember great songs if I've forgotten!! :p

Okay, I still appreciate Linkin Park's first album despite the fact that that style of music isn't my most favoured anymore.

Cos I'm making you think about them and cast your mind back ;)

That reminds me, Cast - Sandstorm and going from that I remembered Bluetones - Slight Return :)

Put the best of Supergrass on in my mate's car the other day as he had it in his CD wallet. Whilst pretty much all the tracks are great (and my tastes have barely changed since the 90s anyway), how brilliant were/are Sun Hits The Sky and Richard III? I'm thinking of getting the album myself now.

Also, a few weeks ago I accidentally started playing Set You Free by N-Trance on my acoustic guitar. An odd way to revive a belting track but a pleasure to hear it again. :D

Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger, I'm not a massive Oasis fan although I do like or have liked most of their songs at one point or another but now I very rarely listen to them at all. However when I do it always takes me back to being about 10 or 11 and it feels great. :)

Kula Shaker had one of the best B-sides I've ever heard. It was called Under the Hammer and was on the Hush CD single. No-one I know has ever heard of it but I rate it as their best track; it's on my mp3 player right now, as are a lot of the tunes in this thread so far. :)

I'd also like to add:

The Gigolo Aunts - Where I Find My Heaven
Mansun - Being A Girl
Elevator Suite - Back Around
(no-one has ever heard of this either!)
Teenage Fanclub - Sparky's Dream

There was a B side I loved and I'm struggling to remember which single it was on.

I think it was a former Fugee. It was a slow RnB track, very very chilled.

Might've been called Don't be Afraid.

[edit]Pras Michel, Ghetto Superstar. Wonder if I still have the single.

It's strange really, that the songs I've forgotten about all seem to be categorized in genre's that I'm not really into anymore, although I still like the individual songs.

ATB - 9PM
Crazy Town - Butterfly
Wamdue Project - King of My Castle
Fragma - Toca's Miracle
Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba De)
Baby Bash feat Frankie J - Suga Suga

Thanks for the reminder, I'm just whacking it into the playlist now. :)

Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Kosheen - Hungry
Semisonic - Closing Time

Are all a few more that I don't listen to often enough. I really need to go through my music collection again.

Semisonic - Secret Smile
Tina Arena - Chains
Lisa Loeb - Stay
Dina Carroll - Don't be a stranger

There's another ballad but I can't remember it :/

BB x
