Which Speaker?

Currently I've the Logitech X-140 which is connected to the PC used for playing 320KBPS music, I was looking into either a subwoofer or a 5.1 speaker which is used for playing 320KBPS music, gaming and movies on TV, which should I go for?

You would have to pay a lot more to get a 5.1 set of comparable quality.

Sorry I didn't mention my budget, it is around £30-45

If you do decide to go for 5.1 speakers, make sure you can place them properly. I've seen a few people just place them all on the desk in front of them. Doing that negates the whole point of 5.1 speakers. If you can't place them properly, 2.1 speakers are the better option.

If I go for 5.1 speakers, I'll properly place the main unit on the floor and the speakers on the desk

What's the difference between subwoofer and 5.1 speaker?

The prices of 2.1 and 5.1 speakers are nearly the same, so should I go for 5.1 speakers?

I have been suggested that the Logitech X-530 is the best within my budget, what are your thoughts?
