which speakers ?

hi, i dont know a whole lot about speakers altho i know i've had enough of these horrible tiny brand 2.0 speakers that i got with my first pc about 6/maybe more years ago.

i'm looking for a 2.1 set up thats cheap but effect, any suggestions ??

What kind of price range are you looking at? If you're looking at £80 or so you'll get a flood of recommendations for the Acoustic Energy Aego M - I suppose I might as well get the ball rolling

. They're amazing speakers, well worth the money.

I'm afraid I don't know much about cheaper speakers. The Logitech Z-4 seems decent enough but I'm sure someone else will be able to give some better advice.

that a tad to pricey.

like i said i know sod all about speakers but i'd ideally not want to spend more then say 40ish quid
