Which spec?

I'm stuck in choosing a phenom II build or i7. I had originally aimed for a 720 BE about a month ago but since prices have fallen to below £200 i decided to move up to the 955 BE and then i7 prices come into range.

Any ideas on what kind of clocks i would be looking at with either spec?
Is it worth spending the extra £50 for i7?

As above go for i7, although I would try to find another £30 to get the PT6 instead of the MSI.

Certainly worth it - the 955 is basically for those who already have an AM2+/3 motherboard or just can't quite stretch to an i7. If you have the extra £60 it's certainly more powerful.

Yes, yet another for i7. But for the Motherboard would it be better to get the Gigabyte X58 U3DR, or stretch for an Asus P6T.
And there is 6GB of DDR3 For only £40 so that would narrow it down a lot.
