Ok, Im getting hold of C2D E4400 for cheap with an Asus P5NSLI board (Nforce 570i chipset), and Im not sure what RAM to get. I can trade in the 2GB PC3200 I have at a competitor for 30 cash or 46 trade, and get 2GB stick of what looks like OCZ ReaperX PC8000 for 55 quid from them. Anyway its OCZ PC8000 with a big black heatsink and silver heatpipe. Is this overkill for the relatively low end board and CPU? Ill be trying to squeeze as many GHz as I can out of it so I figured fast RAM is a good thing, but seeing as the FSB on the board will only go to 400 max anyway I'm not sure if that RAM is just overkill and I should maybe go for some 800Mhz stuff and save the cash. If I had a lot of money to splash around this wouldnt be an issue but alas I really dont. Any input is welcome on this, Cheers.

Thanks for the replies chaps, I ended up getting the reaperX stuff anyway as a mate got me a discount on it so trading in 2GB of PC3200 meant I spent 75p extra to upgrade 
. I know it wont ever reach its full speed in this setup but at least if I upgrade the rest of the kit Ill still have some decent RAM.
