which ssd should i get?

I want one for OS + some games and software installed on it, also do some renders and compression of rather large files.

I got sata II mobo, and budget about £200-£250.

is it worth getting one now, and what would you suggest?

Me personally I would go with something under £2 per GB just for a boot drive with one or two apps on it, like this or this.

But if you really want to spend £250 on one then either this one or one of these.

But I personally don't think SSDs are worth it right now, I'm waiting until at least £1.50 per GB.

I know that some do (e.g the Corsair ones) but I'm not sure about OCZ, I don't think they do so get something like this

all i know is that retail Intel ones do come with one

im just thinking, maybe i should have paid £20 more and get 2x50gb ones and do them in raid0?

i so positive that the LE SSD is so fast anyway(look at the read/write speeds) that raid would be either, overkill, or massively bottlenecked by the SATA interface.

do you have SATA 3.0 or 2.0?

Not to mention you loose TRIM when you RAID SSDs.
