Been looking to upgrade my current e6600 processor and asus p5hw deluxe mobo for a while but too many outgoings have occurred over recent months.. (weddings, holidays and Birthdays ) :(. Plan on getting asrock extreme 4 gen 3 board and i5 2500k processor with 8gb ram and silver arrow. Keeping my old 650w PSU, antec 900 case, win 7 64bit and my 5850 for time being..

So as a small compromise I'm looking to get a SSD at the end of this month to tide me over till I can scrape the cash for the rest of the stuff.. But which 1 to get?? Been looking at 3 possibilities:-

120 gb corsair force 3
120gb ocz agility 3
128gb crucial m4

I know I won't get the Sata 3 rates until I get my new mobo n stuff sorted. I've read a fair bit of negative press re the sandforce controllers so I'm erring on side of caution and possibly going to go for theslightly more reliable crucial SSD. But the write time on that are a lot lower than the other 2.

I mainly use my pc for gaming so was wondering whether the write timings would make much difference?? Any ideas??

crucial M4 hands down. the OCZ and corsair still seem to have their problems, so couple that with the recent update to the crucial M4 that gives it a huge boost in performance it makes it a no brainer

I have an ocz vertex 3 with the 2.11 firmware and have noticed no problems what so ever. Running on 6gb sata 3 also without issues. Ridiculously fast :D I'd definitely recommend but cant comment on the m4.
