Which storage - media PC

I have just built a media PC and already gobbled up the 1TB HD I bought.
Looking to buy 3-4 more. Plenty of room in my case, so what is the most cost effective storage?

4 x 1 TB HD, what is the best value?

2x2 TB best value? More cost effective than 4x1TB

I don't want to just look at prices and buy the cheapest, looking for value for money instead.

They will be used to store and view ripped movies.

You can't buy 2TB hard disks.

I would look into Raid5 if I was you, as having TB's of storage that has no redundancy is just asking for trouble.

i'd go for WD Green Power drives, 1tb around £70 each

You got to RAID that, alright you'll lose storage space but the redundancy will save you in the long run!
