Which sub £250 Z790 motherboard?

its along time since ive build myself a pc, so im after a bit of input.

i have a 14600k here and i need a motherbaords for it.

ive been looking at the

MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS.​

i cant see any reason that would make me want to spend more than the £200 on this but please feel free to let me know your input. ive not had an MSI board for a long time.

I have looked at gigabyte and ASUS.


no much gaming at the moment but i may out a GPU in it later. Mainly used for office work, photo and video editing.

It's pefrctly decent board just check it has the features you require , you may need to update the motherboard bios for the 14600k to work but that isn't a problem as that board has a bios flash button.

This can update the bios without the need for another CPU.

If editing is important then to it mite be worth the stretch to either 13700,/13700k or 14700k but don't forget decent cooling is required..
