Hi all.

Just looking at possible new ideas to use money on. I have a Google Nexus 7 2013 tablet which iv used and love. But I'm after a new tablet.

I like android but would consider windows. Although I am on a budget. And I don't want something that's huge and heavy, although saying that I may concider a windows tablet which has an attachable keyboard.

Has to be fast. Good spec, good screen.

If there was a new nexus tablet I would get that

I've got one too and also love/loved it, will consider the new Nexus 7 when it comes out this year (hopefully). Do you have any problems with yours? Mine no longer auto rotates so I have to open an app that runs in landscape to force it to rotate, also registering touch is nowhere near as accurate as it used to be.

Samsung galaxy Pro 2 was my upgrade. 8 inch. Fast, Great Screen and nice size. Yes it's touchwiz but still manageable and if you want to I'm sure you could flash what you want on it ROM wise

Thanks for all the replies and great suggestions ....

Appears I have the following options

- Buy another nexus 7 refurbed :/
- Nvidia Shield Tablet - not too keen on this either

- Galaxy Tab S2 8" - not keen on paying £290 .... could stomach £250
- iPad mini 4 - **** Apple and their stupid prices

I went from the Nexus 7 to the nVidia Shield. It was a worthy upgrade, though I regretted buying the 16GB version, so I upgraded the to 32GB version. Now I am a happy boy :D
