Which version of the Tamron 70-300 is better for Nikon D3200?

Tamron SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di VC USD Lens - Nikon AF

Or

Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD Macro (Nikon AF)

Thanks for the info.

I currently have th following lenses.

18-55mm stock which I may sell.

50mm 1.8g prime lens which is awesome.

And I will buy the tamron 70-300 VC version.

I do portrait and landscape/ sporting photography.

Do you think I should part with the stock lense that came with the camera as I would use the telescopic lens and prime lense more!

First point - A long focal length lens is referred to as telephoto9graphic) rather than telescopic.

You might as well keep the 18-55 as it's not worth a lot of money and is a perfectly capable lens.

That said, it might be worth looking into a 35 1.8G or a 28 1.8G (bit more expensive) to replace the 18-55 at the wide end.

oooops lol

I have now ordered the Tamron 70-300mm VC
