Hey OCUK!

Im having some problems with temps and software.
Here im running 4 different applications to see my core temps under load.

All of them vary from the other so im not sure which to trust and use as my OC temps :?

Which would you trust?

None of them, Go buy a probe as that is the only thing you can trust 100%.

Hmm, but if one was to choose which to believe without having to buy a probe..

Sadly u cant trust probes the reason being is that unless its calibrated to perfection ur never going to get an accurate reading of ur CPU (mainly cause u can never get them close enough to the cpu). Best option is to use the internal CPU sensor (reason being is that no matter how good the probe placement is it will never reflect the exact reading). I would say either coretemp or realtemp seem to be the most accurate. Atm im using digital sensor probes and even with them i dont get an accurate reading (do now but after days of calibrating the sensor). Best practice i use is to find a program with the highest reading. Reason being is that if that is the highest u can rest assured that it will go no higher than that, thus saving u from a melted cpu (if u overclock that is). That is what i have done. I had to set my sensors above what core or realtemp gave me to make sure that what reading i get is the worse possible reading i could get. Well hope that helps. Btw if u do buy a probe go DIGITAL its a lot more accurate and its reading is a lot more stable than a standard analogue sensor.
