o2 always has good reception i have found. When many of my friends don't have coverage in neighbouring towns, I could make a phone call on top of Snowdon.

O2 always seem to come out on top on all online surveys I've seen on forums like digital spy etc, plus always seem to lead the JD Power customer satisfaction ratings which the whole industry go by.

(I might be biased though)

You've still not offered a reason for which you want to know the cheapest. Or are you implying you want free texts?

Weekends don't cost anything anyway, don't believe the Vodafone hype. I could be skint and still not pay anything for my weekends. Who collects weekend tax?

I've been on Pat As You go with:

o2
Vodafone
3
T-Mobile

Only o2 have been flawless with others having either poor reception or dropping calls.

o2's 300 free texts were also awesome.

I am currently on my first Pay Monthly contract with o2 and again have no problems and a great tarrif.

with 02 on pay as you go if you top up £15 a month you get unlimited 02 to 02 calls for a month, this is what I have now and I used to have a 02 contract phone and it cost so much more..All my family are on 02 so its very cheap I spend about £7.50 a month on calls and texts max, but I do have to supply my own phone which in some ways is better..

PAYG wise nothing touches O2. I top up a tenner a month, use that for one month and then have 300 free texts the next month.

Could also instead have 50 free mins, or unlimited o2-o2 calls and texts

I had T-mobile for 5 years, then vodafone for 1 year and now 1 year with O2.

O2 is by far and away the best of the lot. if only they sent you a text message showing missed calls when your phones been off or had no reception.
