Which Thermal Compound to get?

I just fitted my new Thermalright Mux-120, but the Thermalright paste that came with it was absolutely useless and wouldn't spread as it seemed too dry.

The cooler is now idling at stock speed at 21c without any paste, so I'll be getting a tube.

I was thinking Artic Silver, or is there any other that you would recommend?

I personally use Zalman ZM STG1. I saw a review for it and its rated at the same as artic silver. Ive had it for ages though. You only get a few degrees lower temps with different compounds anyways depends if your overclocking or not.

I use Liquid Pro

Plus you look like you are on gear

Liquid pro is a bad shout. I'm also using that one, it's a lot of effort for little gain. I.e. to show improvement over the normal pastes you have to lap both processor and heatsink then clean them. If you clean with ipa then apply liquid pro, it doesn't take to the surface and also doesn't show better temperatures than the paste would have.

I honestly had the best temps using the paste that came with my noctua heatsink. For me, it was slightly better than the MX-3
