Which thermal paste

Hi

I am building a system with the following:

• 1 x Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard
• 1 x AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Eight Core 4.7GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
• 1 x Alpenfohn Brocken 3 CPU Cooler - 140mm
  
  I have read that the
  
  Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut High Performance Thermal Paste - 1 Gramm
  
  is probably the best. Is that the case, or are there any other recommendations ?

back in the day when the Interweb was young, there was an Aussie called Dan who tested heatsinks and waterblocks and "goop".

Incredibly he found little difference between thermal paste and toothpaste (other than longevity) and actually found that the best conductivity was achieved with a drop of water

I gave the Antec Formula 7 a go ... as always no idea if its better than than Bequiet or Arctic Silver used before?

That silver overhype gunk hasn't been any top paste in long long time.
But that Atnec is actually quite good.

One thing about the Antec paste, it was nice and easy to use with supplied spreader, not gluey like some others.
