I'm looking at moving from my stock CPU cooler, its long overdue so its about time.. yeah.. so I'm looking at the following:

Akasa AK-961

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7

The Akasa looks kinda cool, what with the blue glowy things.. blue glowy things are always nice... but the Arctic looks the business for cooling. So which is the better of the two? Is there any difference at all? Is the Akasa as good as the Arctic for cooling, or is it all looks and no substance?

I need something, the Geforce 8800 has decided to raise my CPU's temperatures just from the fact of being in the same continent, so its definitely time for some heavy duty cooling.

The ACF7 is the better cooler - a very good cooler i find indeed.

If you dont have a budget go for a Tuniq Tower as there the best but in all fairness the ACF7 isnt to far off :)

No, cash ain't a problem.. that Tuniq Tower, theres no fan on the picture. Wheres it go? And what sort of results do you get from that? Actually, if anyone can give me more detailed results than 'this ones better than that one', I'd love to hear them. Amount of temperature drop over stock cooler, etc, etc..

Well the fan on the tuniq is actually situated in the center of it :)

im getting about ~50 degrees at 2800mhz with my ACF7 which i think is pretty good - not sure about the tuniq but i know people are getting pretty low temps.

Im happy with my AC freezer 7. The ninja and tuniq do look good though, just bear in mind the size of them, ensure you have room.
